Kaboom and The Phantom

Jeff Matsuda Comic, Kaboom, is the reason I started drawing and considered taking comic art seriously. His comic influenced me so much with the bright vibrant colours and free flowing character designs, that to this day, in my opinion, I don't think anything has matched it. Before I could even draw at all, I was copying the drawings outta that comic. I loved every bit of it.
Many probably haven't heard about this comic because it was published under Rob Liefields doomed comic company Awesome Entertainment. Any only 3 issues of the comic was ever produced.
But none the less it left a lasting impression on me.
And just NOW! I finally do a fanart of it.
Why did I wait so long to do one?
Well I was waiting till my skill was at least somewhat decent. Hopefully years from now I'll do another one and laugh at how crappy this one is.
Also here's a Phantom sketch. Wanted to do more with this but just couldn't for some reason. ...meh
Enjoy
